Like the average star, a hegemonic culture expands and incinerates everything it can reach in the process of dying away. In our time this has become literal; we bear witness to wildfires, ecological collapse, and mass extinction as America lies on its sickbed yearning to die.

This chapbook is called You Will Never Be Home Again, and it is seven poems about life, human and otherwise, in a time when the desert is advancing in burning strides and no one is sure who or what will survive. Each poem comes with accompanying minimalist art.
